First time visit. Came in for lunch on a Tuesday. My wife and I were seated immediately and our order taken quickly. We were well taken care of and checked on several times while waiting for our order. I had a hickory burger and it was oh, so good! It was cooked to perfection, the beef had a wonderful flavor, and the cheddar cheese was piled high. My wife had the French dip and she loved hers as well. Overall, we had an excellent experience. Great food and great service! I highly recommend Bartlett’s Restaurant!!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin especially for a chilled martini, delicious steak & fine glass of wine. They've got quite a variety by the glass. Service at the bar was excellent and fast but allowed single diners a leisurely pace to enjoy a fine dining meal. This is the former Houston's so there are a lot of standards & favorites on the menu. The pricing is appropriate in relation to the high quality, preparation, taste and consistency of the meal. The restaurant stays busy especially on the weekends so you may have a bit of a wait. The Hawaiian ribeye is phenomenal as was the cheesecake with raspberry sauce.

We visited on a Sunday at 3 PM and were seated quickly without a reservation. The service was fast, and our waiter was exceptionally kind. I ordered the 8oz filet mignon, and it was outstanding. Having dined at many restaurants in Austin, I can confidently say this was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had.

Bartlett’s is an absolute gem! We had an amazing dining experience, and the food was simply outstanding. The famous French Dip sandwich was perfection—tender, flavorful, and paired with the perfect au jus. The filet mignon was cooked to absolute perfection, incredibly juicy and packed with flavor. A special shout-out to Patrick, who made our experience even better. We requested to have our fries changed as they were a bit salty, and he handled it with such kindness and professionalism. His attentiveness and excellent service truly elevated our visit. From the warm atmosphere to the impeccable food and top-notch service, Bartlett’s never disappoints. Highly recommend this place for an exceptional meal!

First time here and I highly recommend it for special occasions or family outings. You get great food, great service and cozy atmosphere which is hard now a days to get all into one. I had a reservation which was easy to do online and was seated immediately. It was already packed upon arrival. Our waiter Jordan was fantastic and on point with recommendations from drinks to entrees and deserts! I had the roasted artichoke for appetizer. The crab cake entree with garlic mashed potatoes and greens beans. The drink was a Pear Martini and dessert was Key lime pie. All absolutely delicious and fresh! The manager even came by to check on us and asked if we were happy with everything? We absolutely were 100%. There is plenty of parking towards the front of the restaurant. We will be back soon!

If you're familiar with the restaurant chains of Hillstone or Houstons, then you'll love Bartletts. It a long story but might say Bartletts is a close cousin to those restaurant concepts, including many of their recipes. The offering is very Americana, meaning a little bit of everything. The place is extremely popular, so reservations are strongly recommended! Pictured is their prime rib with horseradish and extra crispy shoestring potatoes.

to say this place was amazing is an understatement. we came here a little last minute so we were definitely underdressed i would recommend business casual or fancier. but regardless, Evan our server was amazing! his descriptions of the food were specific and accurate and helped us chose the perfect meals. we started with the artichoke dip and the grilled artichokes which were amazing and well portioned. i got the french dip which i was so excited to eat i forgot to take a picture until i was halfway through. my only complaint for the whole night was that the fries were really salty but other than that everything was amazing. and my boyfriend got the CAB ribeye which was cooked perfectly with a nice sear on top. we also got the baked potato which we personally would have preferred to be a little softer to make it easier to spread the toppings but it was amazing. overall we will be back as our experience food and the service from Evan was phenomenal.
